"ZeroAvia is eager to push boundaries and test limits."
Besides contributing to the development of ground-breaking hydrogen-electric powerplants, I was also drawn to ZeroAvia’s contribution to sustainable aviation.
The culture at ZeroAvia is collaborative, progressive, and fast-paced. There is emphasis on a one team, one goal approach to encourage bouncing ideas off each other for brainstorming, feedback, and innovation. There is also transparency of processes that encourages questioning and creation of solutions, making progression and developments quicker.
It is exciting that we are working with new developments in aviation and liaising with aviation regulatory authorities create regulatory requirements for these developments. My role ensures that the work we are doing to supply the world’s breakthrough zero-emission engines not only powers a revolution in green flight, but also introduces new regulations to cater for these revolutionary powertrains.
Every day is a learning opportunity for me as I am working in a team with engineers who have years of experience in airworthiness and certification. I am also enrolled in aviation training courses that are crucial for my role and career building courses that are for my personal development both within and outside of work.
I like that the company culture is closely tied to the mission. Everyone at work shares the same vision and the leadership has a clear objective on how to not only meet this mission, but to make an impact in society and use it to motivate employees.
It has been gratifying training teams within the organisation on compliance with aviation regulator standards and getting employees to not only understand the importance of the compliance, but to also give feedback on what improvements can be made to harmonise progression and creativity with conformance to expected regulations.
Working at ZeroAvia is stimulating, daring and progressive. The culture at ZeroAvia encourages people to think deeply because of the lively conversations happening. ZeroAvia is eager to push boundaries and test limits, and the transparency of the processes and departments show how progressive the organisation is.
