We are looking for an experienced and qualified HMI design engineer to join our team and work on the design, installation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical wiring systems in aircraft. As a HMI design engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of the Cockpit systems design in accordance with the relevant regulations and standards.

  • Design and develop HMI installations, modifications, and repairs using CAD software and tools
  • Perform analysis and testing of HMI components and systems to verify compliance with specifications and requirements
  • Conduct inspections and audits of HMI installations and maintenance activities to ensure quality and conformity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HMI issues and problems using diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Prepare and maintain HMI documentation, records, and reports in accordance with the applicable procedures and regulations
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other engineers, technicians, and operators on HMI related matters
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices in HMI Design

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, avionics engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HMI design and engineering in the aviation industry
  • Knowledge of HMI regulations, standards, and guidelines such as [AMC 20-21], [AMC 20-22], and [AMC 20-23]
  • Proficiency in CAD software and tools for HMI design and development
  • Experience in HMI analysis, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and quality orientation
