The company's mission towards green aviation first and foremost. Also, having worked in the aviation industry previously I knew that this business can be very slow. Something like this doesn't help to keep you motivated and also doesn't leave much room for personal improvement. I was hoping that ZeroAvia as a new company will do things differently in order to achieve its targets and I was right!
With no doubt, ZeroAvia is the most challenging and fast-paced environment I have worked so far. However, I am lucky enough to work with people that have the right attitude to thrive within this environment.
In my role, I am responsible for designing various components for the aircraft on 3D CAD software, participating in design reviews, producing mechanical drawings, and coordinating with the installation team to ensure everything has been installed correctly as per the design.
ZeroAvia has given me the opportunity to develop a lot as an engineer. Having started as a Design Engineer, within one year I became an approved signatory for mechanical checks on drawings and documents.

Definitely the Dornier's first flight. It is a project that I invested a lot of time, effort and energy into and when I saw the aeroplane flying for the first time it was by far the best moment in my whole career.
