As the Office Manager for the UK, my role is vital to maintaining the contact loop throughout our offices, and ensuring we're as uniform as possible across the business in how our sites are run and the processes we have in place – it's all about making sure we're working as and feel like we're one team with one goal. My role plays an important part in making sure our sites run smoothly and colleagues are supported with the resources and information they need to get the job done and create the technology of the future.
Because ZeroAvia is a start-up, we’re evolving all the time, which brings lots of new opportunities to learn, develop and try new things. Personally, amongst other things, I've had the opportunity to train as a Fire Marshal and First Aider, as well as complete an IOSH Managing Safely Course. There’s a real culture where taking the chance to step outside the boundaries of your normal role and support on or try something new is not only encouraged, but it’s recognised and rewarded too.
Being part of changing the aviation world, and getting the unique opportunity to work at an airport without needing to be in an aviation specific role.
