"There are so many career development opportunities."
I wanted to be part of a company that was doing some good in the world, but also something revolutionary. To be able to join a business that you know will be the future of aviation and that has the potential to positively impact the environment, was too good an opportunity to miss.
Hardworking and dedicated!
Although I may not directly touch the aircraft or contribute to the mission in that way, I support those that do. I get to support engineers and those who are revolutionising aviation. I like to think I’m a friendly face that anyone can talk to about whatever they may need, and I see that as incredibly valuable.
There are so many career development opportunities! I have the joys of being a part of ZeroAvia’s Apprenticeship cohort. I’m studying for my level 5 CIPD with the full support of my team, which for a scale-up business is rare, but we really value personal and professional development.
The people! In my role I get the chance to meet most people in the business, from really diverse backgrounds and cultures, who are all siting under one company to do something incredible.
Seeing the Dornier fly! Seeing everyone’s hard work pay off, I know how much sweat and tears went into that aircraft and I feel privileged to see history be made!
